Fear of Flying,

Identification is essential in evoking any emotional response. In the horror genre, this means taking viewers through highly common situations and gradually creating fear as these situations devolve into darker things.
Here, in the first movie, a plane DOESN'T crash, and the horror unwinds from that. Anyone who has had any sort of "near miss" will understand and enjoy the reactions this creates. Both movies are enjoyable, but the first one (heard this before?) is so much better than the sequel... |
