4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, November 5, 2005

Personally, the best in the series to me. I thought the deaths were awesome. Dont get attached to the characters though, becuz, well, yeah. The deaths are nasty. Its better than the one after it too, Dead Man's Hand. I personally thought #4 had TOO MUCH cussing in it, there was like 5 cuss words every page! And End Of The Line actually had some, but not so much that it annoyed me. So, overrall, its a good book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, a page-turner, December 20, 2005

Take it I don't read books much. I am a senior in High School who likes to hang out with friends and I just am excited about everything Final Destination became since the 7th grade when it first came out. Now 5 years later and I have found that they were making these books. Apparently they're rare though, as I have to order them from any book store instead of grabbing them off the shelf. So here's what I think (take it I've watched both movies numerous of numerous times and am anticipating the 3rd one even though they jipped some of my ideas when I sent them to Newline :-/ ...) www.fanfiction.net > Movies > Final Destination > Final Destination 3: School Explosion by RoryP23

This dude Danny and his sister (I'm bad with names, I've read 4 of the books so far) are traveling from the west coast and doind this exhange program where Danny can then go to college afterwards in New York. They meet some really foreign people and eventually take a train to explore more of New York (why does everyone who has a vision die in New York? Weird)
But beforehand he passed out on a closed-down amusement park ride and dreamt that they already were on the train and it slices people, and explodes! But then they actually get on the train and everything's cool cuz it wasn't like his vision at all. Until they make another stop and it causes people to shift places, places he saw in his vision. And then it explodes (wow never thought that reading a Final Destination book!) and he escapes with even his mentor...an old lady.

This book is intriguing from the start. Here you have deaths at the zoo, involving punks and spiders and so much more creativity. And to twist the plot, this chick passes out and is handed Death's list, she is involved in someway to these bizarre 'coincidences' as the ending nears. It was great! These books are underlooked and they are rarities. Check it out and see the 3rd film Feb 10!

Group of foreign exchange students who were supposed to have died team up with a medical student who sees death everywhere she goes........

Similar plotline as before but somehow diff......
2nd best in the series, the deaths are a little far fetched, but kind of believeble, more gruesome than the last, much more chain reacions though, the spider crawls on the guy, he flicks it off, a woman at the restruant pours grease on it, it catches fire, the firemen come, the guy gets out, is hit by hose's water pressure ..........

anyways, again you can't get to attached to the characters....
has a very surprising twist at the end, it completely changes the story, overall an ok book.........
