I can't begin so say enough positive about Robert E. Cox and the depth and scope of his work. If anybody is interested in the bigger picture and the grand cosmic cycles and how they relate regarding the times we are living in and wanting to make sense out of why things are happening the way the are and the nature of what may be happening in the future, The Final Event, Dawn of the Age of Truth is a MUST READ!!! If you are interested in wanting to survive both physically and spiritually over the next 10 years then read this book.

I first heard Robert E Cox interviewed on "Theatre of the Mind" radio podcast. Every bit of information he had to offer was valuable as with his book "The Final Event". However, no information was actually new to western minds, maybe obscure but not new. I first discovered this interpretation of Earth history from Frank Water's "Mexico Mystique-The Coming Sixth World of Consciousness" (copyright 1975) which is almost a direct distillation of Mayan philosophy of the Universe and our little part in it which includes their (the Mayans) knowledge of the 6 stages (Suns) of human consciousness. But I bought and read "the Final Event" specifically to see what Cox further recommended in order to ride out this 'impending storm of collapse and change' in human society. Cox, himself has moved to rural India. His advice is basically 'stock up your food pantry, learn to meditate' and don't get pulled in by the polarizing ubiquitous anger and fear' while the world crumbles as we know it. Probably sound advice but still I was a little disappointed in this short and somewhat incomplete book. Nonetheless, while Americans are hypnotized by TV and Fox News, arm yourselves with knowledge, try not to hate your neighbor, stock your food pantry and do what the corporate world fears the most-buy less.

Great book. I found so many answers in this book that I've questioned during my life. Very interesting book. Highly recommended.

The author paints a picture of the future that fulfills his ideal dream - a wish to be suddenly transported into a spiritual Golden Age. The book is more wishful thinking than solid thinking.
Change is coming but the facts point more to a gradual change over the next 10,000 years due to an increasing electromagnetic environment. Our solar system is revolving around the center of the Milky Way but also "bobbing" in a 12,000 year bounce as it revolves. What is causing the bounce?
The answer to that question will will answer the mystery of the "Ages".
The EYE knows and has keep the the knowledge alive in a small group but things are changing, the night sky is soon going to display a new star heralding a new understanding.
