Product Description

From the Manufacturer

The Final Fantasy Legend series continues! In this classic RPG adventure, you are on a quest to reunite with your father. In order to find your father, you must travel far and wide to find the scattered fragments of a mystical force, known as Magi. Your quest takes you to several mysterious lands filled with caves, temples, enemy bases, ancient Japanese castles, and much more. Many of the worlds are filled with quirky inhabitants, such as the world of giants. Another world praises beauty but banishes ugliness.

You can choose four heroes to accompany you in your journey. Choose from humans, robots, and even monsters. As the game progresses, you will encounter additional characters that may join your party.

This game features a helpful "Memo" feature that enables you to access important details that supporting characters told you.

5.0 out of 5 stars this game got me through ninth grade english, April 11, 2002

magi, seventy-seven pieces scattered throughout various worlds. when brought together they form a statue of the goddess Isis, individually they represent power to their holder. many mortals seek the magi to gain enough power to become a self proclaimed god. you have control over four warriors and sometimes a guest, who are on a quest to gather magi and prevent evil persons from obtaining that power. you have a choice of who you want in your party, a human male/female, mutant male/female(magic users), different monsters who change througout the game, and a robot who increases/decreases HP and stats depending on what he is equipped with. if these don't sound like the ingredients of a fun filled adventure then don't get this game. it is one I will always remember, heck I still have it and play every couple of years.

5.0 out of 5 stars The fantasy is back with more depth, worlds and characters, January 13, 2002
This review is from: Final Fantasy Legend 2 (Game Cartridge)
The original Final Fantasy Legend was a fantastic RPG and the sequel added to it, with far better graphics and even more game depth, such as robots and monsters that can be added to your party of four warriors and even new worlds. The robots must be upgraded and the monsters can turn into different monsters! There are great features to quicken the pace of the game, such as rather than spending hours earning experience points and going up levels, you can now purchase levels, spells, weapons and stuff like that. To quicken the game, it now has it where when you buy a weapon, you can only use that weapon so many times before you lose it, so the game makes you drive forward to new goals, places and even worlds. Speaking of worlds, the real depth of the game is that there are dozens of worlds, with new graphics, characters, enemies and plots. The game is a fun RPG with great replay value with secret characters and entire secret worlds.

5.0 out of 5 stars SaGa's second installment, June 20, 2001

and the best out of the three. FFL2 (or SaGa 2) is the best available for the gameboy. It includes: 4 races, many abilites, a unique item/ability battle system, and an interesting story. It's races were used again in the game SaGa Frontier (save a few name changes.) I won't say you will necessarily like it, I am just giving my opinion on the game. Personally, I like the SaGa series better than the FF series (SaGa includes SaGa 1-3, Romancing SaGa 1-3, and SaGa Frontier 1-2). Give it a shot, it couldn't hurt.
