The figure of Mateus the Corrupt is pretty wicked. You can see all the details on this Esper, and the rising ice makes for a great still-action pose. The only problem I have with it is that the weapon's end piece is supposed to come off to allow you to slip it into Mateus' hand, but I can't get the thing off. I spent over half an hour trying to get it off without breaking the weapon altogether, didn't budge. So my Mateus will go empty-handed for now. Other than that the figure is great for Final Fantasy XII fans or collector's of the Play Arts figures!

Mateus came in a legit Square-Enix licensed box, unopened and unscathed. It was perfect.
The bottom of the rod to insert into Mateus' hand is rather difficult to get off, but it's only natural. And it is do-able without breaking or damaging the rod. Lots of beautiful detail, it is wonderful. |
