Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Final Fantasy III 3 Nintendo Player's Strategy Guide (Paperback)
I found that some things were missing from this guide (such as how to get the scene with Gau and his father in the World of Ruin), and other things weren't accurately explained. I purchased this mainly as a souvenir for a game I love, but for someone playing the game for the first time, some things may not be worded well enough for the player to understand, so they should be prepared to "tweak" some of the strategies. As a guide it works for any version of the game, be it the original or the Anthology version. Laid out very nicely.

This review is from: Final Fantasy III 3 Nintendo Player's Strategy Guide (Paperback)
This is the best guide book for FFIII that i know of. I own 2 other guide books and they are not even half as good as this one.

It is well worth the price of the book to have a guide for one of the best games on the super NES, if for nothing else then to see maps of the areas as you go through them.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best FF6 Guide, January 2, 2008

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Final Fantasy III 3 Nintendo Player's Strategy Guide (Paperback)
This is the best Final Fantasy VI guide out there, although it can be hard to find these days. It has everything you expect in a strategy guide (maps, secrets, charts, etc.) but manages not to spoil too much of the story. This book was the first to reveal now-famous exploits such as the Vanish+Doom trick and Genji Glove + Offering. It also tells you how to unlock the game's secret "limit breaks."
