Wings of the Goddess is the highly anticipated final expansion of Final Fantasy XI. There are many reasons why I give this expansion high marks:

-cheap expansion, and the Vana'Deil collection that has all the expansions is only 10 dollars more!
-New jobs are simple to find and start out
-jobs are more oriented for smaller parties

with the game moving to smaller parties it has become far more fun to play and easier to handle in small doses. If you are one of the gamers that don't play for hours upon hours on end to find a party... this expansion is for you!

I love Final Fantasy XI but this expansion is lacking.. I guess we have to wait for more updates and additions to it. Campaign is pretty much the only thing going for it so far.. and the ability to get the two additional new jobs Dancer and Scholar.

Final Fantasy 11 (FFXI) is different from the usual MMO. There are less quests for 1-2 people, and more time spent forming groups. Experience points mostly comes from fighting monsters in 6 man groups for 2-3 hours. NPCs are more memorable and their personalities plays a big part in the game's quests. Equipment is more precious, and advanced players will be familiar with the pros and cons of each piece. This game is more "hard core", and I wouldn't recommend it for casual players that want to stay casual.

Wings of the Goddess adds more options for the high level solo player. The additions are not as popular as Treasures of Aht Urghan expansion, but very nice. Campaign gives nice options for instant action.

I haven't ventured far into this expansion yet, just unlocked the Dancer job, but from what I've seen, some great new storyline is there along with fun new jobs and abilities. The cutscenes and music are really cool!

For real this expansion ain't that much, just added few new stuff and areas from the past (pretty cool story line and view). But the good thing it has is the ability to get exp/merits soloing con Campaign, and i mean huge exp, not like ballista's one (talking over 2k). The new dnc job gaves hours of soloing fun even when subed. I think this expansion made the game a lit more fun again! just my 2 cents!

This is the latest expansion pack for the final fantays series and only MMO in the category. FFXI was released to the US in october 26th of 2001. At $12 a month is a relyable worthy mmo. FFXI consists of Community, Comunication, Friends, It is also a visiously time consuming game. If you have a lot of time in your hands I recomend this game. In addition, FFXI is NOT a solo game, so if you like to do things on your own I recomend you find another. This game is great in community, friends, and has an INCREDIBLE ammount of quests, missions, crafts, levels which is preaty much imposible to complete this game unless you have been playing since 2001 althoug the missions are realy great and follow awsome stories, each mission set follows its own story so it becomes like beating the game for each story while aquiering great items, gear, and equipment. Finaly, This game is highly checked uppon by Square and will not allow RMT nor HAX to function for any time at all. so the game dose not become corrupted.

Overall GREAT GAME if you have time in your hands. Buzy ppl should stay away from this one. AND like SE States in the login screen "Don't forget your family and friends(real life)" or something like that lol

I really like FFXI, only problem is Amazon. I ordered a month in advance and just now got my delay notice. I now won't have the upgrade until end of December. Naturally I canceled. I'll be going to other providers for software games from now on. Getting tired of game delays all the time. I could get this upgrade on the 21st in Wal-Mart...of all places.

I had heard that amazon was backed up with this title because of a typo. It only stated it was for vista. I got scared and started looking around...It arrived long before the ETA i was promised. I might have had to wait a few extra days but as a whole i love shopping with amazon. My merchandise was delivered when (before) it was promised and all seems to be running well with the game so far. This is a game that one might not find a glitch for a year(s). My game has been running on '98 so i consider myself very lucky to get to play it at all. I am very satisfied with my order. Amazon has always taken care of me. I hope by saying that i havent thrown a wrench in progress, or jinxed myself. Im very happy. BTW i love your rock tshirts, but it would be nice to have them in bigger sizes. i cant wear anything under XXlarge. But that's another story. The game is fun too, if you are a fan of time travel i would reccommend this title. This isnt directed at Amazon, but BOOO to whomever thought to release all of the Twin Peaks episodes in one package when it took me 6 years to get them all on DVD by season. I would have bought (and still may) the Gold Box series. OH Well, you will continue to have my business until something goes wrong^^
