Roberta Isleib's Final Fore is a fast-paced mystery that will keep you turning the pages. Her characters are quirky, complex and oh, so interesting. I enjoyed Cassie's frailties and her willingness to learn from her experiences.

While the mystery is fun and compelling, it is the attention to detail about the game of golf that makes Final Fore a real winner. And what's fascinating is you don't have to be a golfer or even enjoy the game to be drawn in and find yourself absorbed in the minutia of the life of a touring professional.

Armchair Interviews says: Final Fore is a fun read. Check out Isleib's other novels: Six Strokes Under, A Buried Lie, Putt to Death, and Fairway to Heaven. It's a long hot summer and Isleib's mysteries will keep you happily occupied.

I love the Stephanie Plum, by Janet Evanovich, series and am always on the look out for similar novelists. Roberta Isleib easily hits the mark with the Cassie Burdette series. Fun situations, nutty but lovable characters, witty dialog, and soft boiled mystery make for a great read!

Do enjoy this author's works and was thrilled to find this book that I had not previously read.
