It is a fantastic romance! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

After receiving news that Sam, the man who had been like a father to her for nine long years, had died, Hannah traveled to Riverbend to hear what he had to say in the will. She felt anger that after living with her and her mother for nine years, he had abandoned her. What a shock it was to Ethan when he learned Sam had willed half his farm to Hannah - if she lived there for six whole months!!!

This was a wonderful story full of twists and turns. The truth about Sam and her mother was interesting, even though I could suspect it the whole time. Even the ex-fiencee's story didn't come as a big surprise to me. I loved the ending - your basic man going after the girl scene...I never tire of that - sooooo romantic!

I enjoyed this book. It isn't an action packed book, but the story line is good, realistic, and it is nice to see a main female character that doesn't do stupid stuff trying to be tough or a heroine. Hannah jumps in to help do farm work, but nothing a "real life" person couldn't or shouldn't do. The only negative I have for this book is the ending, which leaves the question of who does the little girl belong to then? I don't want to ruin any of the story line, so that is all I will say about it, but it leaves a big part of the ending just dangling. Hopefully she covers that in the next book?

Unfortunately I couldn't finish it. At about halfway I had to put it down. The storyline was good but I couldn't connect with the characters. It was missing deep POV, to begin with.
