Finance for Managers is an excellent resource for anyone who needs to understand financial management, but who may otherwise be intimidated by its complicated equations and diagnostic techniques. However, Richards clearly explains financial statements and analysis in his text by providing easy to follow examples and models; additionally, he offers clear definitions of otherwise confusing financial terms.
Prior to using Finance for Managers in my MBA program, I had difficulty understanding the significance of financial management. Luckily, I had Richards' text for reference, as it guided me through the steps of financial analysis and allowed me to calculate, record, and evaluate my own financial statements without any unnecessary stress! I continue to reference this text in the business courses that I instruct, as I find that students relate well to its clear explanations and examples. I highly recommend this text for anyone who wants to understand the overall impact of financial analysis on a company. |
