This was a big mistake on my part.
Reasons:
1. Cant sell it back
2. Doesn't have page numbers so if you're teacher tells you your hw is to read pgs 303-330 you have no idea where that is.
3. Doesn't have chapters 15 or 16 of the book.
Hardback edition should be nice, get that instead

The information in this book is valuable and correct, and the authors come across as very personable. However, the way the information is portrayed to the reader is sub-par. The organization of the book is poor, and the book contains many grammatical errors and typos.

In addition, as you can see in other reviews, there is not a way to check the answers in the back of the book! As you do the practice problems to see if you actually understand a concept, don't you agree that it would be nice to see if you are doing the problem correctly? Yeah, me too. Instead, you find out if you know how to do the problems when you take a quiz or an exam.

This book caused a lot of confusion because the lack of answers in the back of the book and the typos in questions (do the authors think we are children who will just copy all the answers or what?); as a result, I cannot give this book more than one star.

I understand if you must use this book for a course, but if you are debating buying this book as a supplementary text I highly recommend avoiding it.

I rented this book in hopes of not having to haul the heavy thing around campus. The problem I found was that we were assigned reading based on page numbers... The kindle version does not use even close to the same page numbers. Another major problem I ran into was that the hard book offered visuals like charts etc. that had been left out on the kindle version.

So the book itself was great, just don't use the kindle version for sure.

I had an excellent professor who used the entire book. She skipped around a little. For the most part we went cover to cover in one semester. The examples are excellent and the structure is excellent.

I've decided to keep this book rather than selling it back to Amazon. It covers all of the main concepts of accounting and has many interesting real cases to illustrate points.
