I recently had the opportunity to read Ms. Nevels book and thoroughly enjoyed it!! Very informative and easy to read!! I recommend it to everyone who wants to keep their heads above water in this time of recession and near "depression".

This is a well-meaning first effort by author Cynthia Nevels.
As she points out in her book, getting financially fit requires changing one's mindset.
Changing one's mindset begins with assessing where you are financially and then making a clear cut decision to move in a new direction money-wise.
Nevels urges her readers to see that financial literacy means among other things a willingness to take stronger hands-on approaches to the financial side of your life. Maintain your status quo and, well, you maintain the status quo! "Financial Bailout" offers step-by-step measures to take in order to obtain assets while avoiding some of the pitfalls that will stall financial growth. The book offers a good first stage look at how to own up to your current financial level, and then how to begin to grow in financial awareness. The book, aimed at a female audience, urges women to become masters of their own financial destiny.
