The Hulnicks present a personal money management system based on mental exercises that help one develop the right attitudes toward money. Essentially, the thesis of this text is the same as most personal finance books: cut expenses, cut debt, and save more. However, the Hulnicks, who are family and financial counselors, believe that the key to having the correct attitude is visualization. Visualization is a technique that has proved useful in improving athletic performance and physical health, and now the Hulnicks believe it will work for one's financial health. If you determine your financial goals and visualize them every day, you will obtain them. Whether one believes this theory or not, the Hulnick's do provide a good financial management program, which includes determining your net worth and tracking your expenses. Included are forms, tables, and charts needed to set up the program. Recommended for public libraries.
