5.0 out of 5 stars Super practical, January 22, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Financial Freedom in 8 Minutes a Day: How to Attract and Manage All the Money You'll Ever Need (Hardcover)
I love this book. I didn't realize how much until I found myself checking it out and renewing it endless times at the library. It's too bad it's out of print. This book gives you everything you need to get started right away. You really don't need any other book to get control of your finances. After spending a little bit of time logging my expenses (the forms are included), I was able to get a clear picture of what I was spending and making. I needed only the forms included in the book, a copier and a few other simple materials (listed in the book) to get my self in shape. It helped me get rid of that sinking feeling I would get when thinking about money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wealth building the way you always wanted it to be!, October 25, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Financial Freedom in 8 Minutes a Day: How to Attract and Manage All the Money You'll Ever Need (Hardcover)
This is the best program out there, and believe me I have tried them all! I was able to stop behaving like a teenager with my money and become an adult financial planner in a very short period of time! I even attracted a new job and doubled my income because of the affirmations I used from this program. Don't wait, buy it now, and use every word and piece of advice. It was easy and I have been reluctant for years to do this because I didn't want to see how bad my financial picture was. Ron and Mary taught me to let go of past judgements about myself and my ability to manage money! This is the one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Learn to be in control of your finances and dreams!, February 15, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Financial Freedom in 8 Minutes a Day: How to Attract and Manage All the Money You'll Ever Need (Hardcover)
I particularly enjoyed the part about setting up effective financial records and "getting my house in order." The book provides practical guidance for how to gain control of your finances and start aiming toward your dreams. Most importantly, it realizes that while each person reading the book is coming from a different situation, all readers have the same aspiration: control of your financial future. The book is non-judgemental and teaches readers not to judge themselves based on their past money-management successes or failures. It helps readers re-program their thoughts to become their own reliable financial advisors.

Financial freedom in 8 minutes DAY by Ron Hulnick, Ph.D. & Mary Hulnick, Ph.D.  This great book is actually a spiritual book written by spiritual people.  It is currently out of print but Amazon.Com may be able to find you one or you could call the authors at the University of Santa Monica (310) 892-7402.  Financial Freedom [FF] is about one of the most difficult spiritual areas, money.  You will not find a specific spiritual path here, you will find practical ways to become more spiritual and wealthy and healthy and happy at the same time.  I did not find the word spiritual in there, only practical ways to solve the hot issues of money and to get any financial house in order.  The house could be yours or even a business.

5.0 out of 5 stars freedom, February 26, 2008
This review is from: Financial Freedom in 8 Minutes a Day: How to Attract and Manage All the Money You'll Ever Need (Hardcover)
This is a very good book with lots of ideas on how to improve your finances. Some of the material can be found on other books on finances. What makes this book stand out are the exercises in each chapter of the book, plus the wealth-building forms at the back of the book. On page 208 of the book, it provides a variety of things to do in the 8 minutes a day program to reach your goal of creating wealth.

One point the book made is the advice that who you are has nothing to do with how much or how little money you have at any given time in your life. An excellent chapter also is chapter 5, "Transforming Your Personal Money Myths).

I didn't find anything that I disliked about the book. I will keep this book and re-read it on my journey with money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommended!, January 4, 1999

This review is from: Financial Freedom in 8 Minutes a Day: How to Attract and Manage All the Money You'll Ever Need (Hardcover)
Great book. I found this book to be highly information and motivational. The motivational part is especially self-satisfying. It really breaks any fears or lack of confidence away in simple and easy to understand language. Basically everyone is empowered to master their own financial destiny. Some practical advice also, particularly about organizing your own money management system, PALS. It even encourages you to DREAM about your financial success! Part of book was a bit long on the financial record keeping part, but overall a recommended read.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-read for anyone dedicated to wealth!, March 19, 1998

This review is from: Financial Freedom in 8 Minutes a Day: How to Attract and Manage All the Money You'll Ever Need (Hardcover)
Wow! A financial book that stresses how to change your mind-set toward money and finances. Some very practical advice on setting up a money monitoring system that stresses paying yourself first (not a new concept but an important one). But the best part is how the authors tackle the mental blocks that hinder financial progress in people. You learn how to change your false beliefs about money and actually perform simple exercises designed to let you gravitate toward wealth. My favorite is the "Already There Report" where you put yourself one year into the future and write down how you easily met your financial objectives. Gets you motivated!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC BOOK, April 15, 2011

This review is from: Financial Freedom in 8 Minutes a Day: How to Attract and Manage All the Money You'll Ever Need (Hardcover)
This book covers both aspects of money: the "Practical" and the "Mind Creation" aspect. It helps you examine all of the beliefs you have about money and gives very practical steps to help you shift those while at the same time giving steps to GET OUT OF DEBT. Some of the facts are dated (interest rates are quite different now than in the mid 90's), and some things are quite different because computers were not as wide spread then. But the premise and the suggestions, and the charts are still invaluable. For the .01 that some sellers on Amazon are selling them for...it is a STEAL. GET IT. I doubt you will be sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Financial freedom awaits., March 28, 2011

This review is from: Financial Freedom in 8 Minutes a Day: How to Attract and Manage All the Money You'll Ever Need (Hardcover)
My journey from poverty consciousness to abundance made big strides once I found Ron and Mary Hulnick's book, FISCAL FITNESS.

It is in workbook format and I worked it.

My understanding is that two key concepts are to track your finances and to creatively visualize your goals and dreams.

It seemed like a short time and I was in the black. I treasure this book and would never give it up. The Hulnick's have a newer version out, (1994) called FINANCIAL FREEDOM IN 8 MINUTES A DAY - How To Attract And Manage All The Money You'll Ever Need. There are cassette tapes available that are helpful to hear. You can play affirmations related to wealth.

If I feel contracted or worried about money, listening takes me to a better place, back where I want to be.

When I first started with the program, I was single. Now in marriage, my husband does the tracking and I am more of the creative visualizer. Actually, I could use redoing our ideal scenes - visualizations of how we want our wealth to be proceeding.

I love reading the book. Any page in it. If I open it up and read anything, I feel supported and comforted. If you want powerful, gentle supportive direction regarding your finances: try this book. Financial freedom awaits.

I bought this book when it first came out. It has wonderful information about gaining control over your finances but what makes this book stand out is the help they provide you to overcome the mental hurdles that might be obstructing your financial freedom. I have recommended this book to many people and was sad to see that it is out of print, but glad to see that it is still available on amazon. I enjoyed this book immensely as it reinforced what we were doing right and provided us with more tools to achieve our dream of a second home/retirement home. Visualization and affirmations along with discipline can help make all things possible. It did for us and can happen for you!
