Disappointed, February 16, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Financial Guide for the Single Parent Workbook (Paperback)
Although he eventually gets to financial planning he spends a LOT of time working on God's design for MARRIAGE and the pain of divorce. I feel that most people who buy this book are already aware of these things and are perhaps struggling and need help with the tight financial planning. I like Larry Burkett and recommend most of his books, but not this one.

Financial Guide for the Single Parent, January 30, 2009
This review is from: The Financial Guide for the Single Parent Workbook (Paperback)
This book offered very little economic advice for the single parent. Most of the chapters introduce issues that a single parent is dealing with, but the case studies and solutions offered all result in reconciling and remarriage to your former spouse. Since this is not a viable option for most of us, the book does not offer practical advice for the single parent and therefore the title is misleading.
