4.0 out of 5 stars thought-provoking, June 11, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Financial Independence (Paperback)
I thought the book was interesting and informative. It gave some great ideas and concepts but then again I like details. It didn't go into too much detail but it did raise my curiosity into certain areas as REIT and cooperatives involving real estates and also the book sounds a lot like "Think and Grow Rich" (that's a good thing!) in the areas of transmutation of desires into reality. Overall, it's a good book and thank you so much Eddie!

Great book about the nature of our economy. I wouldn't say it's such a surprise (if you are already knowledgeable in this area) but it has some great tips about how to invest your money in real estate or others and how the inflation makes your poorer over time if you play the game like everyone else, instead of taking advantage of it like the book shows you.
A book I would keep on my shelfs.

5.0 out of 5 stars To your wealth, plain and simple!, June 1, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Financial Independence (Paperback)
An excellent book with a true wealth of content from almost every possible angle. It is practical, down-to-earth content for the "little guy" as well as for those more fortunate who have assets to invest and protect. Clearly and simply written yet it stimulates one's thinking towards grander plans and living. For the reasonable purchase price you will learn about some very costly (to the author) and powerful strategies. This is an "OPK" book -- i.e. learn from "Other People's Knowledge." Buy it as a very modest investment for possible immodest gains!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Extraordinary book about the true nature of wealth and money, June 18, 2004
By
James McCreary (Silverton, CO & Vancouver, BC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Financial Independence (Paperback)
Absolutely incredible! Forget everything you think you know about money, banking and commerce. As this book concisely and effectively points out, hardly any of what you think you know about such things is accurate; it's impossible to know what you don't know. In fact, as you read on you quickly realize that if you think about money issues in a "conventional" way, it will greatly diminish if not entirely eliminate your ability to create, sustain and protect wealth.

Step aside Trump, Allen, Getty, et al. Those books are written based on the same regurgitated "wisdom" of the Carnegie's, Rockefeller's and Rothschild's. While the theory of what they write about is true, they inexplicably fail to provide us with the, until now, esoteric keys to wealth creation. In an attempt to keep us always pining but forever unable to duplicate their success, they've in essence, built the house and conveniently, actually intentionally, forgot to give us the all important key. In an apparent mission from God and/or genuine good will, Mr. Solomon has humbly offered up that elusive key.

You have to know how the money and banking industries truly operate in order to properly manage your assets. In an entirely comprehensive and palpable way, the author Eddie Solomon, teaches several different ways to accomplish the same thing: wealth creation, money management and asset protection. This book will challenge even the most "knowledgeable" banking authorities.

It shoots from the hip, unapologetic about revealing the unsavory nature of our friendly neighborhood bankers and still inspires you to accept the ways thing really are, commit to a plan to rise above the nefarious anatomy of our money markets and finally, to realize your god given right to freedom and prosperity.

Daring, provocative, revealing and inspiring; unlike anything I've ever read. In a collection of almost four thousand books, Financial Independence by Eddie Solomon is displayed prominently in this library and subsequently, lent out often and always brought back with rave reviews. This book is a must have for all those looking for financial freedom and an honest perspective of how the world of money works.

Learn how to create Gates, Vanderbilt and Murdoch size wealth. It's all for the taking, once you know how.

Of course I cant attribute all my success to this book. After all we are responsible for our own actions. Suffice it to say however that this book helped me change the way I look at the world in general and the workld of wealth in particular. I am well on the way to my second million and I only read this book 18 months ago.

5.0 out of 5 stars MY FAMILY MEMBERS WERE SCRAMBLING FOR THIS BOOK, June 2, 2004
By
This review is from: Financial Independence (Paperback)
Get this book - it's got all anyone would need to set themselves for life. The month I got this book, it went missing because my other family members were hogging it. Even if the information is somewhat U.S.-centric, all of us actually have our own plans for getting to that stage were money stops being a concern. All I can say is that anyone wishing to get themselves out of the rat race must get this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Read It and Reap!, June 2, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Financial Independence (Paperback)
I was simply blown away by the diversity and volume of information and ideas packed into this book. It is obvious to me that Mr. Solomon sincerely desires to help people understand and achieve their own "Financial Independence". The book is easy to read and understand. The only thing preventing the reader from obtaining personal wealth is the reader. Read the book, take action, reap the rewards. Thank you Mr. Solomon.
