About the Author

DR. MAYO is the author of two books with South-Western: Investments: An Introduction, Seventh Edition, and Financial Institutions, Investments, and Management, Sixth Edition. He teaches finance at The College of New Jersey and is also the Director of Accreditation. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has his Ph.D. from Rutgers University. Dr. Mayo is married, has three children, and lives in rural New Jersey. Dr. Mayo also enjoys classical music, playing the piano, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Opera Festival of New Jersey.
