By Paul Price (New York, New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Financial Management (Barron's Business Library) (Hardcover)
Barron's Financial Management is an EXCELLENT resource for business people, entrepreneurs or anyone seeking a better understanding of corporate finance. It is pithy in that it covers all the key concepts (from the time value of money to raising capital). The entire series of Barron's books should be on your bookshelf!

I finally decided that maintaining a set of university texts as a reference library was not particularly useful or effective. The Barron's Business Library series has enduring utility, is cost effective and does not take up too much space in a book case. Financial Management (3rd ed.) is extremely useful for anyone requiring a concise reference in a convenient size and reasonable price.

I purchased this as an additional study guide in business school. It is very well organized, and all the explanations would have made sense to me before my graduate education, so I know this will come in handy for lots of people. I definitely recommend it to anyone studying or working in financial management!
