I rented the eBook version of this only to find later that it did not have the Page ISBN and therefore no page numbers. This is a huge waste of time especially for a text book. The author and publisher should consider making this a standard on all future releases of the text. The contents of the book were riddled with egregious errors specifically in the excel examples. It makes it difficult to follow advanced concepts such as option valuation when the examples provided are not clear and mistake free. Further the e-version of this book contained several typo's something that I would not expect of an e-version of anything much less a text book.

Great book. Very clear and concise! It takes the time to walk the reader through various methods to calculate and solve problems. I strongly recommend this book for Financial Studies

I've gotten read the first seven chapters so far and the writing is clear, examples are instructive and there are book add-ons that help you follow the chapters. Overall, I think the book is pretty good. The Thompson One add on has been unusable though. They told me it would only work with IE7 or IE8. Well I have IE8 at home and IE7 at work and it works with niether. Maybe it's just me, but if you don't need the Thompson One site, you might look for a used copy or a copy sans the Thompson One access.

The book is really mediocre at best. Very few concepts are explained in a simple way, and the majority of things are explained in such a round about way that you get a headache trying to figure out what the author is saying.

This was for an MBA finance class and after reading a couple of chapters I stopped reading the book and relied on just taking better than usual notes. I passed with flying colors and it was because I stopped reading the book.

Don't get me started on the highway robbery of a price.
Seriously, if your professor does any decent work at lecturing you're better off without it.

This book actually does a good job of teaching Financial principles; easy reading and well thought out.The examples showing how to use Excel are for the most part easy to follow and the steps to use the financial calculator are dummy proof.

I am using this book as the text for my Financial Management class, for my MBA. It is very complete and useful.

While there was nothing wrong with the access code that came with the book, my professor actually uses CengageBrain which is an entirely different access code which cost $80. The access code in the book is for a Thomas Business website that is not at all helpful in reviewing for the course. Waste of my money, should have just purchased the book without the access code if I would have known our teacher was using a different site.

As far as finance books go, this one is at least pretty good at breaking up the different topics and giving some good real world examples of the concepts. I certainly wouldn't choose this book to read for fun - but I am not a finance major either...just the required finance class to complete my master's degree.

The book looks new, arrived on time via expedited, price is fair. Overall experience is great. Fully satisfied.
