Roy Diliberto is a financial advisor who has been generous to the financial profession by writing a great book on how to provide excellent service to one's clients by focusing on them. I found Roy's book to be invaluable to me as I set up my financial planning and investment management practice. I entered the financial planning business to help people be able to navigate through the intricacies of our financial world. How to we help our clients save for retirement while they are saving for college while they are also paying off student loans and buying a home. How do we help our clients balance all the competing needs in their lives while also helping them have a vision of their financial future. What is their vision of their perfect life? As Roy explains, it's not all about the money. I recommend this book to all financial advisors and anyone who is thinking about entering this amazing profession.

A timely book as it describes the journey of a high profile practitioner from financial planner to lifestyle financial planner. A valuable read for those advisers currently looking at their client offering (especially those in the UK in light of the RDR).

An excellent book.

Big fan of this book. Roy does a great job of outlining what a Financial Life Planner should do, and how the value of one is so much greater than a simple investment advisor. Would highly recommend to those trying to offer their maximum value to their clients.

Love it- the author gives me all the supporting information I need and want to be the sort of financial planner I had hoped I could be when I entered the profession.
