Should be required reading to keep on living!!!, December 1, 1998
This review is from: Financial Success: Harnessing the Power of Creative Thought (Paperback)
This book is second to none in the area of personal development/life success. I have read the "classics" in this area from authors such as Napolean Hill, Dale Carnegie, Og Mandino, Earl Nightingale, and Norman Vincent Peale to the leaders of today such as Anthony Robbins, Stephen Covey, Zig Ziglar, and Brian Tracy. They are all great but Wallace D. Wattles has them all beat with this masterpiece. This is not just a way of thought but in actual blueprint for wealth. There are certain laws to acquiring riches and once obeyed and followed getting rich is reduced to an exact science. Do exactly what this book tells you to do and you will get rich with mathematical certainty. Once the word gets out on this book it will go down in history as one of the "classics." I read one chapter every night of my life and I'm now on my 20th reading of this book. Don't even think twice about not getting this book. Read it, learn it, memorize it, live it, and apply it. Best of luck and may an abundant life be yours. "Dr. Harry"

A little gem, May 12, 2001
This review is from: Financial Success: Harnessing the Power of Creative Thought (Paperback)
I suspect that this little book has been discovered and rediscovered by every generation since it was written a hundred years ago, and will continue to be rediscovered by every generation for a hundred years to come. It is a little gem. Directing his words purely towards financial success (the book is also published under the title: The Science of Getting Rich), Wallace Wattles teaches lessons that go to the heart of achieving success in any endeavour. But more than this, his words are designed to transform and expand our view of the universe and of life itself. Do not expect any financial advice of the traditional kind from this book. Expect instead an object lesson in the power of thought. Every non-essential ingredient has been pared away to provide for us a succinct and vital summary of required thought and action. The book is short, but that is not to say that it is not repetitious. It is, however, repetitious with a purpose. Wallace Wattles is passionate about instilling his simple principles upon our minds. So every idea is expressed, summarised and then summarised again. He even includes a chapter of test questions at the end so that we might reinforce our own learning. Until I read this book, I had always thought that the expansive and abundant view of the universe had lain dormant until Einstein reopened that level of scientific understanding. This book came before Einstein's theories, and shows that abundance has always been grasped with absolute clarity by a fortunate few. Read this book and re-read it, and you can soon count yourself among that number.

Warning!, January 6, 2005
This review is from: Financial Success: Harnessing the Power of Creative Thought (Paperback)
This is a really great book and I highly recommend it, but be warned that this is the same book as The Science of Getting Rich. I bought this thinking that I was getting a different book by the author since I was so impressed with the Science of Getting Rich. I didn't mind at all getting a paperback version of this classic which I had previously read in ebook form, so I kept it. Highly recommended along with Napoleon Hills The Think and Grow Rich Action Pack.
