Easy to read. You hear about this stuff in pieces and it is confusing. They make it out be very simple to understand with short chapters. After reading it I bought 3 more copies to give out at Christmas to my best friends.

A thoughtful call against the out of control debt,

America seems to be in a rockier financial situation than ever. "The Financial Tsunami: Will it Drown Us in a Wave of Debt?" is a call to action from Mike Gearhardt and Will Gates as they express their anger with the federal government for failing to control the national debt and states that America has the power to do something about the poor management in Washington. A thoughtful call against the out of control debt, "The Financial Tsunami" is a worthwhile read for any angered with government financial failings.

This review is from: The Financial Tsunami: Will it Drown US in a Wave of Debt? (Paperback)
Having worked with co-author Mike Gearhardt for many years, I always appreciated and respected his financial and organizational insights. These insights are evident throughout this short yet powerful book which is truly a "must read."
The book supports the common business mantra that "people perform to how they are measured" as explained in the on-budget/off-budget discussions. Every U.S. citizen must become better informed which requires placing less confidence in the distorted messages of politicians and the media while looking deeper into the financial reality of our nation. As noted by the authors, our nation's debt crisis is not so much a partisan issue (i.e. everyone is guilty) as it is one of fiscal responsibility, or lack thereof. We can't keep spending more than budgets allow. The bottom line is if you are not screaming mad after reading this book then you must not be a tax paying citizen concerned about the future of our country.
