About the Author

Dr. Joetta Forsyth received her Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard with concentrations in finance and industrial organization. Her Ph.D. was awarded through a joint program with the Harvard Business School and Economics Department. She has a B.A. and M.A in Economics from the University of Chicago. In addition to years of experience in business, Dr. Forsyth was a finance professor at the University of Michigan and the University of Southern California before joining the faculty at Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management as a finance professor.

Finally. Somebody said it. Finally someone pointed out that if we taught teens basic finance, we wouldn't have gotten into this mess in the first place. And there is nobody more qualified to do it than Forsyth. If she was running things in Washington, well, we wouldn't have to worry about much. Highly recommended!
