well this is an easy book to read, you don't get lost with a lot of hard sci-fi details. this book sort of reminded me of a Robert Heinlein book. one part lost me a bit when the character of the changeling first appearred, but that was minor. I liked the characters- Skallon and Scorpio[the talking dog]. over all i'd rate this a good fast read read.
