More About the Author

Hi! I'm Nancy Hendrickson, an Amazon bestselling author based in San Diego. I write about a wide variety of topics, from social media, Wordpress, computers and digital photography to American history, travel and genealogy. I also coach other writers who want to launch or grow their freelance writing business.

When not writing or coaching, I spend as much time as possible traveling to the historic sites of the frontier west. I've posted photos of these trips over at The last trip was along portions of the Old Santa Fe Trail, which I followed into Dodge City, Kansas. An unexpected find along the way was Pecos National Historic Park in New Mexico - a hidden gem I stumbled across quite by accident. Isn't serendipity wonderful!

When at home in San Diego, one of my favorite pasttimes is flying my Delta stunt kite down at the Bay - - and seeing how many disastrous crashes I can avoid! My most recent adventure involved attaching a Flip video camera to my kite to get a bird's eye view of San Diego. Poor Flip.
