5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic, underrated album, May 26, 2008

Comparisons to Tom Petty abound, and with good reason. This is a tougher, more country Tom Petty.
This album has a bit more experimentation than their first, but is considerably better for it. Mr. Jade features some nice horns, Wolfgang is a very tight rocker with the Cannon in D progression. It Doesn't Have To Be That Way has some nice wah guitar. Dear Diane is very dark. Brakeman was actually the hardest for me to get into, but grew on me quickly. You Should Be Running is a mid-tempo tune, but still effective. That Ain't Right has an excellent drum sound.....
The entire album is excellent. It would help if you listen to it all the way through.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great discovery, November 21, 2005

A very good album. Solid all the way through. I caught these guys years ago when they opened for Neil Young. I'd never heard of them before but instantly new I was a fan. They looked like a bunch of kids that just played, and man can they play. A couple of songs stuck in my head after the show that were on this album. Dear Diane and Find a Door are awsome. Give it a listen. When it's over you'll want to hear it again.

Many great tracks on this CD. He's got a great band together on this record and it all clicks with a sincere and gritty bluesy vibe.
