I got this book after reading all the rave reviews. But frankly I find this book to be a big let down. It starts off very nicely with the first chapter, but thereafter Mr. Lott runs out of ideas. He keeps on repeating the old adage, if you fail once, try again. His phrases like, "let love blossom" and asking you to be patient while doing so....is highly fatherly to say the least.
He places the girl on a high pedestal and contiunes to say that if you were to go on doing nice things for her, she is bound to respond sooner or later. As we guys all know, this hardly ever happens in real life. The girl is more likely to get bored and look elsewhere.
Reading on, trying to get something worthwhile, led to further frustration. [...]

On the one hand, I applaud the author for not making this a "how to scam women into bed" type book. There are a lot of good, encouraging words to just get yourself out there.

With that said, in my opinion, this book is a little weak on "game." It actually assumes that women like "nice" guys, which I don't believe to be the case, or we wouldn't all be buying these books right? The book's basic premise is if you talk to enough [attractive] women, one is bound to like you for the person you are, but that's not very helpful. The book actually gives advice like "women are emotional creatures; you need to tell them how attractive you think they are and how lucky you are to have found them". W-T-F? Um, no... I need something a little stronger.

For it's price, this book is not worth the paper it's printed on. Courting and dating is like playing the Lottery. Some will win and some will lose, even though both sets of people will execute the same set of actions. This book gives you a set of actions to follow, but they do not guarantee success.

MY ADVICE
Any man wanting to attract a woman needs to build his own social value first.
- Go to school with specific long term goals and set out to achieve them.
- Build your body and your mind.
- Work on achieving the best in your career.
- Don't do anything for the sake of getting a woman's attention.
- Live for yourself first.
- Stop comparing your life to TV and the movies.

If you improve your social value first, ask, and are then turned down, it's not the end of the world. She lost out, not you.

The only good advice this book gives is to know when to say no, even to a beautiful woman. The women have the art of saying no down to a science and the average man needs to show them they too have other options.

Hopefully, my review saved you money. It's your choice if you still want to buy it, but I don't recommend it.
