Four books that could have been one....,

I only read them all because I had already bought them all and was determined to finished. However, this "series" could have been turned into one novel. The concept was interesting and the last book was the best.... we finally get told what the heck is happening! But all in all it's only "okay" as far as the series and this book itself goes.
