I just received this product last week. After losing the shed keys and car keys on five separate occasions (which took all day to find ), my wife made me buy something so i would start using appropriate language again. So I did my research and found this website findonefindall.com. The website claimed to find them buried in a hamper of clothes and has a range of 30 feet. The nice thing about this device is when it is buried in a hamper of clothes or in my case the shed keys were buried in a pile of leaves after raking them in the fall, the individual transmitter that you are using to locate the other sends a radio beacon back to the other one. So you wouldn't necessarily hear the sound, but ypu know it is there because the buried transmitter sends a signal back to the device you are using. I also got my keys stuck alongside the cushions in the third row of seats in my SUV. I used my wallet transmitter to find my car keys. Awesome product!!!

As an adult ADHD'er, I'm constantly losing things; my doctor recommended I try out an item locator system. I purchased the FOFA, the EZ 2-Find and E-Z Find packs.

I've been using the FOFA XD's for a few months now, and have found it to be the best of all, with a few caveats.

It ends up winning my vote, here's my quick thoughts:

The Good:

- Can find any device as long as you have one of the others (no need to look for the remote control to your device finder in order to use it to find your TV remote control).

- Pretty easy to use & program once you get the hang of it.

- Multiple devices are easy to add and configure in groups, etc.

The not so good (really my only gripe:

- The keypads on the devices feel rather flimsy, and I'm not sure how long they might last.

In conclusion: Even though the remote controls feel flimsy, I'm thinking about buying a few more. I gave up on the others as I lost the remote all the time :)

I'd definitely give a five-star rating if it weren't for the flimsy keypads.

I ordered of of ea, 1-Wallet Finder set, 1 Cell Phone Finder set, locators. The Wallet size fits perfectly! It took 5 munuites to set up all 4. So easy to set up and use. I didn't need to read the provided instructions w/ picture illustrations. The use of these gadgets are endless. I Plan to buy more

All work perferctly! I was able to use one device to locate ALL of the other 3 :)
Top quality product not to mention my car key cost me $250.oo to replace.
I refused to go in the community condo dumpster before tearing my house apart. Wish I had FOFA before the trash dumpster was emptied!

The one thing that really sets this product apart from the others is the fact that any one of them can act as the transmitter. I have worked with others that work well but have found that I can end up spending as much time trying to find the transmitter as I do trying to find the keys or whatever else I am looking for. This product resolves that problem completely by allowing you to use any of them as the transmitter.

For me the loss of keys was only occasional and not a big problem, but I do a lot of computer work and have my little usb drive holder with six drives that are critically important. Far too often I end up looking for it and spend far too much time looking in the house, office, car, etc. The wallet unit works perfectly for my needs.

I also tried the key units and they worked flawlessly for me. So, with two key type and two wallet type I find almost all of my needs met (but will be ordering two more for my handheld GPS unit and a separate set of keys)

Obviously I have been very happy with them but so what is the downside? Well, despite the fact that their website says they will ship the same day if ordered before a certain time, mine were shipped three days after ordering. Still reasonable but the website should not say the same day if it is not going to occur.

The keypad can be difficult to press if you have any arthritis or similar problems. After a couple of times I realized that it makes a beep when you get it pressed right and that is helpful to let you know it has transmitted. There should be an easier way to do this but on the other hand it was not difficult for me and making it a bit difficult prevents them from setting each other off by accident as your keys jangle in your pocket. So, while it may be awkward for some I like the trade-off of preventing accidental signaling. If you have heard how loud they are you would understand. Not that I am complaining about the volume. It is great because I can hear it under the clothes, under the seat, etc.

All in all I would highly recommend the product for anything you need to keep track of.

I bought this simultaneously with EZ finder. FOFA is very easy, effective right out of the box. The only disadvantage is that each unit is relatively large making it bulky to add to e.g. a TV remote control, and certainly larger than most key fobs.

I am constantly misplacing my keys. I try to put them in same place, but that only works for about 2 days : ) I bought the FOFA with two units. I put master on hook on fridge-never take it off, and programmed it for my keys. I probably use it every other day. I always show it to people when they are at my house. People think it is such a great idea. It has worked every time. The trick is to hold the key down for a few seconds. Don't just press it very quick and release. It needs time to find other fob, especially if it is far away. I highly recommend.

This item is handy, for me, since I always lose my keys. I have a very very bad habit of going home and tossing my keys and cell phone into the unknown. For cell phones, I can just call it up and it'll ring or vibrate to signal its location. However keys do not. Before getting these, I tried and looked at many different products of key finders. I found out that many of them have no range, must be pointed at (due to IR), or isn't long enough. These are not only plenty loud, but also send signals to each via radio waves so you can point in any direction and the finders will beep. Also, the range is really far. I was in my living room, pressed the button to find the corresponding locator and found it was detecting a key from 4 rooms away! The one major problem I find, is that this key find is a rather bulky on, compared to others. People tell me, "Hey you drive now?" and I have to respond "No, this is only my key finder :P My car is still that same old Longboard". Overall, it's a nice buy if you're disorganized like me or you are prone to lose items easily.

After losing my keys what I vowed to be "for the last time", I hopped on Amazon immediately and began searching for a solution. I decided on the FOFA system after doing some research. The finders, one of which is now attached to my key ring, look like standard lock/unlock car remotes at first glance. The system does its job, along with the help of my cat who can hear it even when I can't (3 floor home + basement).

Pros:
Does the job - helps you find your keys
Extremely easy to program. Really no effort at all required, you just pull out the plastic battery protector and push the number button for the number you want that remote to be programmed as.

Cons:
I don't like bulk on my key chain. I think it could be much thinner, and a bit more attractive.

Bought the fofa system to help me keep track of the ordering machine at work. I will set it down and when I need it again I don't remember where I set it. I just reach in my pocket and press one of the two fofa's and I can find the other easily. The area I work in is 100 by 400 with metal shelving in 19 rows. It can reach from one end of area to the other.

I don't know how long the batteries last. I have only used it for 4 weeks.

When my husband misplaced his wallet for the 2nd time within 3 days, I was fed up, stressed out and knew there had to be something that could prevent this all too common event. I did a web search and this item came up on Amazon. As the reviews were very good, I decided to order it.

Not only did it arrive almost overnight, but it has truly become a lifesaver and stress reducer. Easily programmable and other than confusing our dog works excellently. Since we received it my husband has had to use it about 4 times (!) and he was able to locate the "missing" item within 2 minutes.

Can't imagine what life was without it. Now no being late for work or appointments because of lost wallet or keys. If you are even thinking about purchasing this, don't hesitate. You will not regret it.
