This album was recorded in the midst of Sandi's personal problems. The songs reflect the process of going through the hard times and having faith that God is there for you each step of the way. Songs like "God is Walking Me Through," "Find it on the Wings" and "Carry On" back up this point. "Safe Harbor" is a song about how the church should be a place of peace for those in the midst of trials and life's storms. The best song on the album is "Where the Nails Were." A beatiful song about how Jesus took our rightful place on the cross and bore our sins. "Build My World Around You" is an upbeat song of praise and the album closes with an intimate song, "Imagine (how God can sing)." This album has a more contemporary feel than some of her earlier project, but the message and the voice of the songs are second to none. This is another great CD from Sandi.

Wow. What an amazing selection of songs from a wonderful woman! I love this album so much - I always listen to it and "sing in the hard times" to quote form the title song!! I am actually lucky enough to be in a choir where I sang "Find It On The Wings" at many concerts. At every concert the song went down very well - people were humming the tune and tapping their feet to it months after! I don't actually have a favourite song on this album - every song has a different quality and a certain sparkle that only Sandi Patti can give it!

This won't take long. This is fantastic album from a fantastic artist. It is obvious from the songs and the sound in her voice, that Sandi is back. She has seen the light at the end of the tunnel and is praising God for it. This album is uplifting, even on my best days. You will not be disappointed by the music or the message of 'Find it on the Wings.'

When I purchased her album "Artist of my Soul" I thought that there wasn't a CD by this awesome singer to beat that album.

However, 'Find it on the Wings" is so absolutely wonderful to listen to. The songs she sings brings out the best in her beautiful voice and the vocal backings are awesome as is the accompanying orchestra.

There are two songs I would like to make special comment on. The one is "Make It 'Til tomorrow" because I am grieving the death of my thirty year old daughter and need to hear lyrics like this... to know that God only requires us to live for today and trust in Him for tomorrow.. The other song is "Where The Nails Were" which is such a deep reminder of how far Jesus was willing to go to redeem us. He took upon Himself the guilt of all our sins and nailed it to the cross, where we should have been. Praise the Lord for His grace and mercy!

Sandi Patty has clearly established herself as the Christian female vocalist to emulate. Her style and vocal ease have never shone more brightly than on this CD. If you love Sandi Patty, then you will love this CD. 5 enthusiastic stars!

This 1994 recording is a transitional album from the inspirational signature sounds of the 1980's to more experimentation in sound begun with 1993's utterly different"Le Voyage." This a varied collection of songs and moods that utilizes the power of Sandi's voice and performance ability in a more contemporary Christian mode and a more limited range of octaves. The beauty and agony of "When I Heal" and the sweet meditation of "Safe Harbour" are just two of the gems. "Where the Nails Were" is a follow up to "Via Dolorosa." This is a contemporary Christian Cd of non hymms. Very good music and recording quality and ofcourse Sandi's singing.
