This is a nice short book that forces the small business to ask though introspective questions and focus on key areas. The book will inspire you to offer something free to attract the right kind of customer. I was skeptical going into the book, but was pleasantly surprised with the content. You will also find some very useful advice specific to the digital age that we live, such as "A marketer's job is no longer to broadcast a message. It's to locate and speak to the right people at the right time and place."

In today's competitive world, marketing success depends on reaching out to people, finding those who want your product, targeting that audience and building a relationship with them.

People love free offers. Whether you have a location business or an online business, giving something of value in exchange for a name and an email address, gives you a tool that lets you keep in touch and maintain a presence with them. We have lost so much genuine personal engagement in our society that sending an individual email informing people of what you offer is attention grabbing.
