This review is from: Finding Her Home (Love Inspired #282) (Mass Market Paperback)
I see this book has gotten no reviews. I wondered why, and after reading the book I realized that maybe nobody actually finished it? I did...and it was okay, but left a lot to be desired! The story line was okay, but I didn't feel attached to either character; and I certainly didn't feel the "happily ever after" mode as I do in so many books...
I especially didn't like the ending...Holy crap, but I would have smacked him if he had dared to do such a thing in public!!! And changing the rules for staff dating - that was so insane! I don't see that happening for real!!! There was not really any chemistry showing. I didn't see that the kids were really bonded with Tori, though they liked her alright. And I didn't see that Steve and Tori were really bonded either...I defenitely didn't think they were ready for marriage - and them eluding to intamacy in front of the entire school board, my gosh, but there would be such a scandal if something like this happened in my town!!! Having spouse supervising a spouse is just wrong, in SO MANY WAYS!!! Okay, but I will give this a three, because the story was okay...the story about Tori taking care of her grandparents was okay, but I was surprised when the author casually mentioned her parents return. Sorry, but I didn't bond with these characters. |
