I was out of work for 18 months before I found a class called Finding a Job God's Way, which was being taught by David Rawles. Amazingly, he was offering the training free to the unemployed, under employed and unhappily employed. I was desparate to find work during one of the worst business down turns in the history of Dallas and Ft. Worth, TX. Thousands of people in this area became unemployed between 2001 and 2004.

David's class met once a week for 12 weeks. Using the techniques I learned in the class, I had job interviews by the 5th week. I had more job interviews than I had ever had before, and I began to get offers! Before completing the course, I had a new job! I also had inner peace and a feeling of self-worth that prepared me for my new positon.

David's entire course is contained within this fabulous book. God has blessed David Rawles with a gift to the workforce that cannot be found anywhere else. If you are in either unemployed, under employed, or unhappily employed, you will be blessed by reading Finding a Job God's Way. It will help you find a new career, but most significantly, it will change your life!

The God-Centered principles presented in this book has helped me to focus on my employment goal; schedule my job search time; prepare a resume honestly reflecting my skills, talents, and experiences; conduct successful interviews; land a job; and fulfill my employer's expectations as promised.

The information in this book has helped me see that the job that really matters is one that is the most enjoyable, and not the one that pays the highest salary.

I am 75 years old, and not looking for a job, however, I have read David's book and find that I can incorporate his suggestions into my every day life. It is inspiring, uplifting,encouraging, prodding and gives you an excellent blue print for facing any difficulty in your life. The book is easy reading, making you want to reread it to make sure you have not overlooked something. David has put into words, what we all know, but sometimes do not practice, that when we depend on HIM, He has a plan and with our help and HIS guidance, we can accomplish anything. I think the book is an excellent tool in proceeding to find a job, and have given it to several friends who agree that it is most helpful.

David's book is a must read in seeking employment today. The job market is truly a different experience today than it was 5 years ago! I know...I found myself out there looking again for a good job, not just employment. I needed stability and benefits for my family and where once upon a time I could walk into a place and "get the job"...the interviewers were younger than me, the bar had been raised (more education was required) and the tools used to screen me were from another world. David's book lays out the basics and leads us into that world of selling ourselves and getting the best in return! The audio tapes are wonderful as well. In the category of one of life's most stressful experiences, his words and voice are uplifting, calming, and can help you keep the faith!

Encouraging, results-oriented, God-focused. I love this book!

First, I used the principles Dave has documented in this book to find my current job. The methods are simple, but the vast majority of my job-seeking competitors fell into the same old ruts that have been ineffective for years. From the resume to interview follow up, the tips got me noticed and gave me a little something extra that put me over the top.

Secondly, and most importantly, this book deals with the emotional and spiritual aspects of losing a job, being restless in a job, searching for a new job, and being turned down. I was comforted by understanding that my job is not who I am and that God is there with me as demonstrated in the scriptures that support each segment of the book.

Daves Rawles book is a new concept. It gives the reader a challenge with each chapter to look at his/her past employment without fault. When God is in the picture, anything can happen in his time. Dave just helps us get there easier!

This is a must read for anyone looking for more than just a paycheck. For those who are just looking for an income, Dave presents a clear Scriptural case for why a job search is so much more. Thanks Dave for this great work.

This book contains straight forward advice that is easy to apply in your job search. I utilized the principles in this book to find the job of my dreams. This book is a small investment that will provide huge returns when you compare it to the benefits of getting a job that you love going too each day.

Dave really has useful suggestions on how to find employment! Finding a job God's Way helps people through a difficult time in their life, knowing that God is with them every step of the way.
Dave's experience in the business world and his spiritual walk with God, gives him special insight into helping others find significance in their lives by gaining the job they desire.

This is the best book I've ever read related to finding a job. As an empolyeer I found the insights particularly helpful in making sure my staff are in the right jobs and they are doing what they love to do. The principles in this book are time tested and clearly articulated with good advice for the person just entering the job market or a seasoned professional. This book is worth at double the price.
