Being a guy, I would never expect to pick up a novel such as this. It was recommended to me, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The incredibly talented Mrs. McKay takes you on an engaging, fast-paced story of self-discovery. Imagine having everything you've ever known suddenly jerked out from under you when you discover a secret about your mother's past. You suddenly realize that you aren't who you thought you were, and you do everything in your power to make things right. This story takes you through the entire spectrum of emotions. There is laughter, suspense, fear, excitement, sadness, and love. It helps you see that in spite of all the terrible things in the world, there ARE good people out there who can make all the difference. READ THIS BOOK! IT'S WORTH IT!!

It has taken me 2 years to find a good book to read. The first page sucked me in and I was hooked until the end. Having recently lost my Mother, I could related to the emotions Chasity was feeling. I wish the book would have continued on to the second chapter in her life.........I can only hope that will be book number 2.

Once I began this book I couldn't put it down, I read it cover to cover in two days.If i had not needed to work in between I easily could've finished in one. The story was compelling, and you truly feel the characters are your friends. You wn't want to put it down and we are all waiting expectedly for the sequel, and the screenplay!

Finding Kylie is a very moving story which masterfully draws the reader into its world. I found myself surprised by the turns in the book as well and the emotional impact it had on me as a reader. Kimberly McKay is a rare talent that is able to convey her story through fleshed out characters and sets a tone that captures the reader's imagination. I'm eagerly awaiting McKay's upcoming novels and I strongly recommend one of the best books I've read this year.

I just finished reading "Finding Kylie". What a captivating story! Kimberly McKay wove a story that drew me in and made me forget I was reading a book. When you read a good story like this one, it makes it hard to put the book down. This book is worth the read. Great characters and raw emotion. Loved it!

I purchased this book for my wife who constantly reads. Both she and her sister have read the book and really enjoyed the book. They enjoyed the story and thought the book flowed well. They are anxiously awaiting a sequel. The author did a great job with the characters and they were easy to follow.

While Chastity copes with the death of her mother (Kylie), she discovers Kylie's journals which start to fill in the mystery surrounding Kylie's ascent to adulthood including the circumstances under which Chastity was born. As Chastity deals with this information, a romance begins to develop.
Kimberly McKay, the author of "Finding Kylie", weaves the various elements of the story into a beautiful, page-turner. The characters have depth which allows the reader to quickly become emotionally involved.

An easy to read book that truly holds your interest. It is so well written with a beautiful story. I highly reccommend it.

Finding Kylie is a thoughtful and compelling page-turner. Kimberly McKay has proven to be an artful storyteller as she quickly, and skillfully, drew me into her characters' lives. Nearing the end of this engaging story, I was torn. While I was anxious to know what happened next, I didn't want to say goodbye to the characters I had come to know so well. I'm delighted to know that Kimberly is working on the sequel. Can't wait!!

I don't like to read books, period. I'd rather spend 2 hours, watch the movie and be done with it. But, since the movie version of Finding Kylie has not been made yet, I decided to give it a read. It was a well thought out, pleasing, easy read. I'm not the fastest reader in the world, so over the course of several nights, I sat down and read through it for an hour or two. It kept my interest and I found myself wanting answers to questions about the characters, which found me excitingly continuing on. I gained momentum as I read on and finished the book wanting to pick up the next one to find out what happens next. So I ask you Kimberly McKay, "WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?!" Can't wait for the sequel.
