Completely surprised by how good this is.,

This was a required book for my legal writing class, and I expected it to be superfluous - after all, there is plenty of other documentation for research, LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.
But this book turned out to be a gem. The writing is good enough that I stayed reading through it at times even though I had looked up what I needed to. Content-wise, the book is an excellent introduction to the law, and the first half should be read the week before law school starts. Style-wise, the authors are intelligent, they don't insult the reader, and they have a sense of humor as well.

The book arrived promptly in perfect condition. The description describes this book as hardcover, but it is a paperback and I have only ever seen this book in paperback. Saved over $30 ordering from Amazon instead of school bookstore!
