Dr. Warren's study guide (workbook based on his book,"Finding the Love of Your Life") can't help but flush outareas needing discussion or compromise by prospective marrieds. It won't take long to complete the questions and compare your answers with your intended. The best approach I've seen to discovering if you are strongly suited to a potential mate, laying open areas of differences, and deciding if those differences are too great to allow a deeply satisfying, loving marriage. Well worth the time; should be a requirement for getting a marriage license!

This book put forth many ideas not usually found in books about relationships. One of the ideas emphasized is the importance of forming a strong lasting friendship in the context of a passionate love relationship. It addresses many other issues that are faced by couples of all ages, not just the 20-something singles.

I was very impressed by the matter-of-fact advice provided by the author. His principles so strongly highlighted the seriousness of the commitment you're making when you decide to marry that at points I had to put the book down to absorb it all. Intense! Dr. Warren really pinpoints the factors that can make or break a marriage and in so doing, takes away the fear for still-singles like me, that the chances of a marriage working are just that, chance, luck, a whim. He shows that it's really about being knowledgeable, choosing well, and working hard on yourself and on your relationship BEFORE the wedding. Thanks so much!!
