5.0 out of 5 stars Finding Nemo is terrific!
My three year old loves playing "Finding Nemo" I love the educational, memory building games as well as the movie clips... a reward for completing 5 levels of play on each challenge. The feeding the shark ping-pong is a fun, slightly challenging game, and my son loves to swim with the sea turtles and play the "concentration"-type rock roll game. There is also a...

2.0 out of 5 stars I wish I could return it!
This is my opinion on Finding Nemo: Underwater world of fun. I bought this game for my 3 year old son thinking it would be worth the money. I really thought it was going to be as great as the movie. What a dissapoinment!!!! It's too easy and the graphics are awful. My son was very excited at first but got bored quickly. There is not much to do, its very repeatable. This...

What a dissapoinment!!!! It's too easy and the graphics are awful. My son was very excited at first but got bored quickly. There is not much to do, its very repeatable. This software supposed to be for kids 4-6, but I have no idea how 5 and 6 year old will continue to be interested after passing it once. I know there is another version rated for children 6 and up, but I'm not sure if I want to get it knowing how poor the graphics and sound are. There are much better games out there.

There is also a traditional "shell" game and a "simon"-like memory game in which you repeat shape patterns made by the moonfish. And of course, the highlight is the swimming with nemo adventures. I would highly recommend this software. It was easy to install and it's easy to use. My son can play it all by himself, changing games as he likes. He really likes the independence.

2.0 out of 5 stars WARNING: BIG EYE STRAIN!, August 21, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Finding Nemo: Nemo's Underwater World of Fun (CD-ROM)
I think the Finding Nemo Game has some good points: 1) superior graphics, 2) fun educational games that teach visual memory identification, pre-geometrical strategies and hand-eye coordination. BUT, the "Swim Challenge Game" is a huge eye strain! It cannot be stressed enough that this portion of the game NEEDS to be redesigned! Having the background moving constantly is extremely tiring, not to mention painful to ones' eyes!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must for children 4-6 who play educational PC games, July 6, 2003
This review is from: Finding Nemo: Nemo's Underwater World of Fun (CD-ROM)
I recommend this title to any children aged four to six, gifted children age three, and children aged seven and eight who need a quick fix of Nemo! The graphics and voices are the best in educational software today. The entertainment value apart from graphics and voices are above average with seven different games. Activity target skills include traditional hand-eye coordination and memory work with sequencing, recall, and matching. My four-year-old daughter loves it and she regularly plays about 30 current educational software titles for her age range.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Visuals, June 3, 2003

This game is by far the best children's game that I have bought for my 6 year old and 8 year old. They play is consistantly and I enjoy watching along with them. The gameplay is perfect, graphics amazing (award winning)and re-play value has been great. Shark game and memory are the coolest to my kids. Hats off, finally a game under valued at the price !!

I saw the 3 star review and almost didn't purchase it. The negative reviews didn't help. But keep an open mind. My 3 year old grandson loves all the games. He is a little young but is learning as he goes. The film clips add a little extra to break up the games. What can I say, it's like a Pooh or Blues Clues CD., it's games, it keeps the little ones interest, while they are learning.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's only a demo that comes with the DVD, November 30, 2003
This review is from: Finding Nemo: Nemo's Underwater World of Fun (CD-ROM)
My 5 year old son was more excited about the game rather than the actual movie, however once we got it home and loaded I was greatly dissappointed. We were able to conquer the first adventure and then were not able to find any others. We searched and searched and even restarted the game many times. Finally, after an hour of trying to figure out what was wrong, I went to the website to find, to our dissappointmen, that it is only a cheap little demo. It seems like it would be a great game but Disney definitely should have stated that it is only a DEMO.

1.0 out of 5 stars Misleading, disappointing, irritating waste of time!, June 23, 2004
By

This review is from: Finding Nemo: Nemo's Underwater World of Fun (CD-ROM)
The Nemo's Underwater World of Fun game disk enclosed in with the movie DVD, was a big disappointment. My young kids were very excited then very upset. Until I read user reviews here on AMAZON, I thought I had a malfunctioning game rather than a DEMO disk on which only 2 of the 6 activities were accessible, rendering the prizes unwinable and the main games unplayable. And one of the 2 accessible activities, the Tank Gang music maker, seems buggy! Neither the disk, its sleeve, nor the read-me file indicated that it was only a demo, so my exercise in futility began: I installed and reinstalled it. I called the Disney phone number only to find the voice menu options to be misdirected, and at Disney Interactive on-line found no help nor mention of the demo version. FINE DISNEY, so you don't want to give away a free game, but why waste your ad dollars on such a stunt? Guess what, I've not been enticed into buying the real game, just irritated into a resolution to spend NO money on Disney computer games! (It's not your fault THQ (the game designer) we still love you.) I'm Sooooo glad that wonderful PIXAR's contract with Disney is ending!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible, December 25, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Finding Nemo: Nemo's Underwater World of Fun (CD-ROM)
I can't believe how bad this video game was. The makers clearly put minimal thought into making it and just wanted to capitalize on the popularity of the movie. The whole game can be finished in one sitting by a four year old. I played with my nephew and kept hoping that it would get better, but it doesn't. The games are all too easy and not that interesting.

Don't waste your money on this one!
