Stephen Arterburn is the founder and chairman of New Life Ministries--the nation's largest faith-based broadcast, counseling, and treatment ministry--and is the host of the nationally syndicated "New Life Live!" daily radio program heard on over 180 radio stations nationwide. Steve is also the founder of the Women of Faith conferences, attended by over 3 million women.

Very good book to help put into perspective who the Mr. Right's are and how to go about seeking them out. I also have the book by Stephen Arterburn called "Avoiding Mr. Wrong" they are both excellantly written with a christian base. I recommend this to anyone and I plan to buy a copy for my 19 yr. old daughter.

A lot of the advice written in here is very good but a lot of it also isn't. Some of it is so obvious but anyhow, I felt that the author pushed the point that people should take it upon themselves to find Mr. Right. When we should really trust God to do it for us, I've read dozens of dating/courting books and the one that I like best is "When God Writes Your Love Story by Eric and Leslie Ludy." Its more realistic.

This book is, to put it mildly, the most sexist piece of garbage I have ever had the displeasure to read. The "advice" contained within is as misogynistic as it is ridiculous. I don't know if it's worthless drivel is more offensive to women or to christians, but one could make a strong case for either. Please waste your valuable time on something else, like golf, stamp collecting, heck- even speed dating would be better than reading this.
