Book Description

July 25, 2005
Finding Square Holes is unique in taking a predominantly self-reflective approach to career development, combining techniques from personal development theory, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and the Myers-Briggs model of personality. If you’re in a crossroad in your career, either trying to decide what to do, or disgruntled with your current job, this is the book for you. It starts with the premise that you can’t achieve happiness in anything if you don’t know what you want in life. Filled with anecdotes, insights and exercises, you are shown how to lay the foundations needed for taking control of your career. This new self-knowledge is used to guide you in a highly practical and self-motivating process of research, networking and goal-setting. This book works on the premise that only you are the best judge of what is good for you. It is a real confidence booster and fear killer. Get it today!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great career advice, September 16, 2008
This review is from: Finding Square Holes: Discover Who You Really Are and Find the Perfect Career (Paperback)
I read this book in two days, took notes, and completed some of the exercises. I found it to be very well written and easy to read. In addition, my learning was interesting and eye opening. I intend to put the advice to good use and pursue something career-wise that more accurately aligns with my values and personality type. Highly recommend this book to anyone at a crossroads in their life (aka mid-life crisis).

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Finding Square Holes: Discover Who You Really Are and Find the Perfect Career (Paperback)
I have no idea if I would like this book because I never got it. The book never came and I have been trying to reach the seller and they never ever respond! This is the worst experience I have ever had on Amazon. The company charged me for a book that I never got! I can't even get a refund because i bought another item with it which I love. I am so incredibly annoyed! I'm not even sure I want to shop at Amazon because I fear that I will lose my money again.
