Good but not great,

This review is from: Finding the Wheel's Hub: Tales and Thoughts on the Endurance Athletic Lifestyle (Paperback)
I bought this book on the recommendations of my coach who found it very funny. As he is a pro athlete I can see why he thought it would be.
However, as a non pro 2 years into the sport, while some things I could relate to and thought were very funny, others were interesting but didn't hold my attention. If you're looking for an amusing book on the life of a pro who has amazing things that happened in the old days, it's awesome to read. I am also a woman and can't really tell how he feels about women in the sport. So, I'm scratching my head. Overall, it's a good book worth reading.

Good laugh at an extreme pursuit,

This review is from: Finding the Wheel's Hub: Tales and Thoughts on the Endurance Athletic Lifestyle (Paperback)
Scott T. tells the humorous tale of extreme training and racing by intense people(ask my spouse). Its a book to enjoy over and over when itrains or snows, or if you doubt that any more training will make a difference. As wine ages gracefully, so does Scott the old warrior.
