I would not recommend. This was a TERRIBLE product.
These brushes (and alot of the cheaper ones) shed a little. If this happens you can take a tooth pick and gently lift the hair off your canvas.
Recommend for all beginners.
The brushes are not at all like the one in the pictures. The acrylic brushes were rough but still the smoothest of all three. The oil brushes were so rough.
Now I've only tried the 1/2 sized watercolor brush for background.
The results were terrifying.
The watercolor brush I was using kept shedding its 'fur' (I dont have a word for it). But the point is, it kept sHEDDING and it was driving me crazy. FURTHERMORE, the brush was wayyy too flexible. I could barely use it to paint and had to keep dipping it in water to make it stay in a shape that I can paint with. A lot of work, but I eventually gave up.
Not very motivational, I know.
In the end I simply used this tiny brush I got from the watercolor set I bought. It was of a great quality, but bad for background (though it made me bring out a LOT of details).
I did okay on the painting, but there were a ton of the remains of the dead brush that I used. It's still usable and looks like a normal quality brush, but I can tell you that it won't work as you thought it would.
