4.0 out of 5 stars Patton's best yet November 12, 2011
By Steve R
Format:Audio CD
I have all his previous albums and you can actually hear him getting better with each release. His timing and delivery are more polished than ever, and the material, as always, is dead on.

Like many of the best comedians, Patton's advantage is not just that he's hilariously funny, but he's also a superb writer. I've read his book, "Zombie, Spaceship, Wasteland," and it's also excellent. This is not a club comic tossing out one-liner observations. He's insightful, sharp, and flat-out funny. I'd give it five stars, but I have a feeling (a hopeful one) that even better is yet to come.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very funny November 25, 2011

I was very pleased with this purchase. Patton is especially funny as usual. I would rank it up there with his other CDs of recent years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Patton's back! September 22, 2011
Format:MP3 Music|Amazon Verified Purchase
I saw most of this material performed at a show in Fargo, ND. It was good but maybe a bit of a letdown to me back then. If I had known he was working on new material I might have given him a bit more credit. That was a while ago now and clearly he got it whipped into shape because this is a fantastic set. It really helps that the crowd is energized too, I haven't heard applause and laughs this loud on a CD possibly ever. Patton's clearly in a transition phase from nerdier, more niche material into broader topics related to parenting and life but if it remains this good I don't think we'll hear cries of "sell out" and if we do they should be ignored.
