This is a great conversation piece. A bit flimsy but what do you expect for the price. If the hand was chrome instead of plastic it would cost more but be far cooler. I cannot wait to use the knives.

This item was a gift and it is a really fun looking way to store knives. I had it in my wish list and was very excited when I received it. I got it to hold knives I already owned but it comes with a set of single piece stainless serrated knives that seem pretty nice. My only disappointment (and maybe I should have read the description better) is that the "block" is plastic, not wood as it appears. All in all though pretty cool addition to my kitchen!

The steak knives were actually a lot better quality than I thought they were going to be. The base itself was a little cheap since it's made out of black plastic but non the less...it still makes a statement. It takes up more counter space than I would have liked but that's my fault for ordering something just out of amusement. It's a great gift idea!

Very nice add on to any kitchen missing a bright feature. Knives themselves work quite well, while the base itself is only hollowed out and it can feel cheap, the piece itself is still beautifully designed.
