5.0 out of 5 stars Truth in advertising!
The gloves were exactly as advertised, which is a very good thing, but the service was faster and better than advertised, which was a nice surprise.

3.0 out of 5 stars decent but not perfect
I got these couple of days ago. They look nice but the fabric is not very good quality. It feels cheap and makes me itch slightly, even though I don't have the same problem with other gloves, scarves, fabric etc...

Otherwise the star on the left hand looks cool.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great gloves !, December 25, 2007

I love these gloves. The fit is perfect with enough room left to insert hand warmers in the palm. I wear them while riding horses in an indoor arena (I live in Michigan so yes, it's cold) where I need gloves but also need to feel the reins. If you're outside in 20 degree weather of course you'd need heavier gloves with fingers, but these fingerless ones are great for warmth without bulk. No, they are not that "scratchy" and yes, only the left glove has a cross on it, as the description says. I am ordering two more pair !

5.0 out of 5 stars 365 days continuous use no problem, March 30, 2010
This review is from: Fingerless Glove Inserts - Wool Gloves (Apparel)
I wore a pair of these gloves every day for a year last year. They were awesome. Initially they were tight around the wrists, ellastic, and itched sometimes, but they're wool (what do you expect). After a few weeks they didn't bother me and the ellastic loosened so they'd hold well, but not choke my hands. After a few washings they no longer felt like wool, but still looked good. After a year they needed to be replaced and that's exactly what I did, replace them. They were a good price, especially for 365 days of continuous use. The writing on the wrists wears off after a month or two, and after that you'd never know it was there. They only produce one glove and expect you to figure out how to flip one over to wear one on each hand, but it's the military and we want them to do all they can to save money so we can spend it on more important things. If you need fingerless gloves these are a workhorse. If you don't like the feel of wool, run these through a few wash cycles and it'll help.

5.0 out of 5 stars super cheap, pretty warm, great buy, January 26, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have two pairs of these, one in black and on in green. I bought them for my friends and they all love them too. They are warm and still have great dexterity so when its cold these are great for reading, typing, or just doing whatever, as long as you don't need a full fingered warmer glove. They are "uni-hand" so there is no left or right but they fit just fine. The white text comes off after a little use too, so don't worry about that. They can be used for anything and be trashed with no worry because they are so cheap. Comfortable, useful, cheap, expendable, - what more do you want?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great buy!, October 30, 2008

I use these every day. I bought them to use at work because my office -- in Miami -- is extremely cold! Now I can type without freezing my fingers. They arrived on time, just as described and the price gave me a warm feeling all over.

4.0 out of 5 stars I got these for fishing, February 1, 2007

I bought them in DEC 06 and they have done a good job. I can now fish in about 30 degree weather without freezing my hands. Of course they don't have the fingers, but I am usually moving around, so just having the gloves cover the rest of my hands provides me with extra warmth. I would not want to wear full gloves unless it was under 20 degrees, so these really handled a niche for me. They are wool and durable. They would hold water if wet, so try to keep them dry. I got the olive color, so these would be good for hunting too.

1.0 out of 5 stars bad buy, January 16, 2008
This review is from: Fingerless Glove Inserts - Wool Gloves (Apparel)
Do not buy these horrible gloves. Hot Topic has better ones for the same price. I was sent two left handed gloves and the quality feels as if you are wearing burlap sack gloves filled with glass and sawdust. Cross is on only one side which is just silly and there is weird writing on the palm side of the glove on the sleeve portion. Sadly my time is worth more than a trip to the post office and even more shipping costs so I am throwing them away. Stay away from these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
