To a blind person, human touch is essential. In the absence of facial expressions, it reassures and comforts. But can you still feel the warm and soothing touch of an unseen God? Author and musician Jennifer Rothschild, who lost her vision at the age of fifteen, explains how God's touch works from the inside out, warming the heart, mind, and soul. It lifts weights that eyes could never see. It washes away the anguish of guilt, the bite of fear, and the ache of loneliness. With the gentle pressure of His hand on our shoulders, we can find our way through the darkest of nights.
Jennifer Rothschild, speaker, author, and recording artist, captivates audiences with her storytelling and signature wit as she travels across the country challenging her listeners to walk by faith, not by sight. Rothschild is cofounder of WomensMinistry.NET and lives in Springfield, Missouri, with her husband, Philip, and their sons, Clayton and Connor.
'We walk by faith and not by sight.' 2 Corinthians 5:7 'It is well with my soul.' For Jennifer Rothschild, these words are much more than the lyrics from a familiar hymn; they represent a foundation upon which many life lessons have been learned in the dark. At the young age of fifteen, Jennifer was diagnosed with a rare, degenerative eye disease that would eventually steal her sight. It was more than a turning point for the Miami, Fl, native. Her dreams of becoming a commercial artist and cartoonist faded. Words and music have replaced her canvas and palette for more than 25 years. Known for her substance, and a down-to-earth style, Jennifer weaves together colorful illustrations, universal principles, and music to help audiences find contentment, walk with endurance, and celebrate the ordinary. Through her signature wit and poignant story-telling, audiences are prompted to look beyond their circumstances to find unique 'gifts,' in unusual packaging. Whatever your trials (or not) Jennifer will give you a perspective of how important as an individual that you are to God, why He has you where you are, how to respond and have joy in your circumstances what ever they may be. I was tremendously blessed and inspired during a very dark time. I share (give) this bookwith others who are stuggling.
It was the impetus for me to purchase her other books. I am currently reading "Self Talk Soul Talk" and it is having an equal positive impact on my life.

It is a good book and I definately liked the way all the books of the Bible were put together to show God's masterful touch. It is an easy to read book but very well written and inspirational.

Wonderful book. Jennifer has such incredible insight. We are using this book for a ladies' Sunday School class, and it has been eye-opening for some of the ladies who attend. Thank you for the quick shipment and for including such great books among what you offer!
