I bought this model sandal and wore it a total of 6 mos. 1 month first summer, 4 mos. second summer, and then this June. I wore them to my office, to the movies etc. Great comfort. I even got the expensive insert made. BUT, AS I BENT OVER TO PICK UP MY GRAND DAUGHTER THIS JUNE THE STRAP TORE (CLEAN) AWAY FROM THE SOLE! I am not hard on sandals. I own pairs for many many years. When my store sent defective sandal to US supplier they sent it back. "Sorry, past 6 mos. warranty". Anyone who looks at this torn sandal concurs that the stitching was too close to the edge. My advice is to stay away from Finn. Many other shoe makers will repair your shoe, or replace it with not many questions asked. NOT FINN! Jo Carey

My feet hurt. I felt like I was walking on stones. Spend $100 on orthotics. As soon as I bought a pair of Finn Comforts on vacation in NYC it was over. Seriously. Truthfully. I have all but thrown out all the other "comfort brands" expensive missteps and am a Finn Comfort gal. They are sturdy and at least a bit less hippie, old-lady or whatever other perjorative that comes to mind. Stylish? Come on, no one will be putting "red soles" on this shoes and I don't expect to see the gals from Sex in the City to be sporting them but hey, I can walk with out pain and THAT my friends, is a worthy investment.

I had these sandals for two years. These were the most comfortable sandals I have ever had. I have high arches and my feet run medium width. I have never found a shoe that supports my arches the way certain styles of Finn Comfort shoes do. This sandal is one of those styles. The support is incredible. I had heel trouble in my 20s from wearing more stylish shoes. I did not want a lifetime of foot trouble and started investing in fewer and less fashionable pairs of shoes, which has cleared up my heel trouble. I am a teacher and do a lot of standing in my job. My feet did not hurt at the end of the day when wearing these sandals. Additionally, when I had to stand a lot at home--especially in the kitchen--I made sure I put these on. I think this particular sandal looks more fashionable than some of the other sandal styles of Finns and other brands dedicated to foot comfort. Sadly, our new puppy also liked the sandals and chewed the leather up on one of the sandals. I am going to soon buy another pair of this style.
