Product Description

Size: 36 Inch

This Contemporary Ultra Slim designed LED fixture features a series of LEDs to promote Marine Refugium & Freshwater growth. Unlike the Ray II which incorporates multiple High Output LEDS pinched together for high light output, the FugeRay features a more evenly spaced LED alignment ideal for refugium purposes as well as low-medium light needy aquariums. The FugeRay also features moonlights on a separate switch, which can be activated during the evening to give the aquarium a pleasant moonlight tone. All models feature a moisture resistant PC Splash Guard to protect against water mishaps. Unlike the Ray II DB which incorporates multiple High Output LEDS pinched together for high light output, the FugeRay Marine+ features a more evenly spaced LED alignment ideal for general marine aquarium applications such as soft coral stocked or fish only aquariums. This all-round all purpose light also features its actinic moonlights on a separate switch, which can be activated during the evening to give a pleasant moonlight tone further making corals vibrate throughout the aquarium. The durable high output LED bulbs are built to last 40,000+ hours. With a LED spread of 120 degrees, this slim LED bar lights up the largest of aquariums. A unique leg fixture allows this LED light to mount on various sized aquariums and sump setups. To extend LED bulb longevity, the circuit boards are built with high quality aluminum and the fixture itself acts as the heat sync to allow ample cooling and superior heat dissipation.

I needed a slim, Attractive & functional light for my Mr aqua 12 gallon Dwarf seahorse tank and this light Was Just the thing.

It is VERY well built, The spectrum of the blue and the white light is GORGEOUS (Looks better than my 20k Halide) and It completely compliments the sleek and elegant look of my rimless tank, I love having the Blues on a separate switch for nighttime viewing as well.

It was shipped incredibly quick and Packaged well. I will definitely be purchasing more of these lights as my tank collection expands!

Thank you AquaVibrant!

Great colour, good for LPs and soft corals. Wattages displayed are wrong, eg, 16 inch is 32w according to manufacturer's website.
Sleek and durable units.

So far, have loved all the Finnex LED fixtures I've gotten (have a Fugeray and Ray2 as well), and this one is no exception. The *only* thing I wish these guys had was with the combo blue/white LED type fixtures (fugeray and this one) that have separate blue LED on/off switches...wish they would have included a separate power cord so things like my Apex Controller would be able to control them. That is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. As for the LED's this one has exactly what I wanted. A majority of blue lights with just a few white. This produces almost too much blue LED, but it sure looks good on my 180 gallon cichlid aquarium in combination with my Ray2. It also "whitens" up the yellow look of the Ray2 when used at the same time.

One thing to caution (and I've read similar stories about fickle cichlids and my experience has been similar on weird reactions to some of the slightest tank changes), when I put this in, EVERY SINGLE ONE of my African cichlids flipped out like they had been electrocuted and bashed into tank walls and rocks trying to find cover when I first turned this on. This was NOT just new light scare or anything. I can turn on the main light on/off all the time and they don't react. Total darkness to bright light, etc. And it wasn't like I was going from the Ray2 light to just the blue...I ONLY turned on the blue in addition to the 7k LED's on the Ray2...I could hardly even see the difference (slightly whiter look with both on). And I tried ONLY turning on/off the Ray2 and the white LED's on this FugeRay Marine+ and they didn't even hiccup. But again, as SOON as I turned on the blue (be it from dark to on, or the Ray2 already on, or whatever), they acted like they had been hit with 10000 volts of electricity.
