I received the case today and was disappointed. First, there was a terrible plastic smell. I've read other reviews saying that the smell will go away- I hope so. Second of all, the SMART COVER DOES NOT WORK!!!!! Other reviews tell me that it worked for them but I don't know if it's just a bad product or what?

Great iPad2 rotating cover; Outstanding Value; seems well made; not too bulky. Extremely convenient to be able to spin the device into portrait mode without requiring an additional stand, particularly while in meetings. It does have the magnetic strip in the cover, and it works as intended. Be advised that it smells horrible out of the package. Leave it off your iPad and let it air out for a few days, and the smell improve. I have had mine for a about two weeks, and it doesn't smell near as bad. I will buy other colors and styles in the future for my wife's iPad2.
