About the Author
Dr. Bon completed her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Medicine (Biology and Chemistry), her Master of Science in Biology (Microbiology) and her PhD in Biology (Developmental Physiology). She continued with a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in a developmental cardiovascular research program.
Dr. Bon is a member of Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemical Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honorary Society, National Scholars Society and is listed on the Cambridge Society's Who's Who List. She is also a member of the Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Institute for Biological Science.
Since 1998, she has published over five scientific journal articles in the fields of microbiology, mammalogy, and physiology, including a landmark paper in metabolic allometry, with her most recent research focused on the development of the embryonic cardiovascular system. She currently serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the Royal Integrative Society.
More About the Author
Dr. Bon has earned her PhD in physiology and has published her research in multiple peer-reviewed journals. She also serves as an Ad Hoc Reviewer for the National Science Foundation, Royal Integrative Society and other scientific journals. She has taught courses, including Biochemistry, at the college level for over 19 years, earning an award for Fostering Student Achievement. She is currently an adjunct professor at The University of North Texas, teaching Biochemistry & Parasitology.
Dr. Bon has authored over 100 popular games and in 2006, founded the premier murder mystery party company My Mystery Party, which has risen to be a top source for party hosts around the world. Dr. Bon has also created the company Scavenger Planet, and Party Host 411 - a spin off from The Official Party Host Handbook that she published in 2011.
In August of 2013, Dr. Bon added the title of executive producer to her list of accomplishments. She partnered with Dallas Cowboys legends Drew Pearson and Marc Columbo as well as Dallas icon Jay Lombardo for a show that made history in Dallas, A Bronx Tale, featuring none other than the Hollywood legend - Chazz Palminteri.
Dr. Bon currently lives in the state capital of Texas and the live music capital of the world - Austin Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys making 2D animations, recording songs with her band, DrunkLora, and filming comedy skits with her family's YouTube show - Watch Our Show.
In 2015-2016, Dr. Bon plans to take on a project filming an independent short film and conquering film festivals - stay tuned!

Blossman does a fantastic job bringing the sights and scenes to life with descriptive prose and a fast pace that keeps things exciting. Obviously it's written for the younger crowd but the writing and plot are sharp enough to keep readers of all ages entertained.
