Author and Self publisher Fiordaliza Charles was born to write. She first realized her passion as a child when she penned "I can't speak your language," a poem inspired by bullies who taunted her for her heavy Spanish accent, Fiordaliza struck back unveiling the gift of poetry. An optimistic person by nature she put a positive spin on the situation and wrote her first poem. This would later lead to a trilogy collection of self-published books based on her first love, poetry. It was the onset of many to be birthed through TPL Publications. Testing the waters Fiordaliza released "Can I tell you a Secret," her first novel. A work of fiction based on a minor, who tragically lost her parents. This book is being edited and will return as "Can You Keep a Secret?". She will continues to expand and collaborate with other writers on novels as well as poetic anthologies. As the CEO and Founder of "The Poetic Lounge," she and a friend published a trilogy of poetic/short story anthologies which featured at least 20-30 writers per book. As T.P.L publications continues to thrive; she is currently writing a novel, collaborating on a new novel and collecting poetry from new and upcoming poets for the new TPL poetry anthology, all of which are to be released in 2014.
